By Ferry
The most popular and convenient way of reaching Alibaug is via a ferry from Mumbai. The nearest jetty is located at Mandwa with regular catamaran and ferry services from the Gateway of Mumbai. It takes around one hour to reach by ferry and 20 minutes by speedboat. From Mandwa Jetty, Alibaug is another 40 minutes ride by bus, the cost of which is usually included in the ferry ticket.
