Kolaba Fort (sometimes Colaba Fort or Alibaug Fort) is an old fortified maritime base in Alibaug, Konkan, India. It is a popular tourist destination and a protected monument.

Revdanda Fort

The fort is located at the mouth of the Kundalika River. It is easily accessible by road. The Alibag-Murud road passes through the fort. Earlier the fort was guarded on three sides by creek water.

Birla temple

A white granite Lord Ganesha temple in the premises of Vikram Ispat. Temple is visited by tourists, pilgrims and locals throughout the year.

Sarkhel Kanhoji Angre Samadhi

Kanhoji Angre was the first admiral of the Maratha navy. He faced formidable enemies like the British, Dutch, French, Portuguese, Mughals and kept all of them at bay.

Magnetic observatory

The Alibag Magnetic Observatory, located at Alibag, in the state of Maharashtra, was founded in 1904. One of its kind in Asia, the observatory is also one of only 13 such observatories in the world, providing an excellent set of geomagnetic observations.

Karmarkar Museum

Karmarkar Museum is located approximately 18 Kms from Alibaug on the Alibaug-Rewas Road. It is located in Sasawane. Sculptors are made by Late Mr. Nanasaheb Karmarkar which is displayed in his own bungalow.
